Description:

For our November event (and in keeping with our ancient Egyptian historical survey), we are going to view a film about the 25th Dynasty or, better known as the Nubian Dynasty.  The documentary explores how excavations at remote sites in the Sudan uncovered a powerful kingdom that vied for control of Egypt during the Late Period (747 – 332 BCE).  Not only does the film highlight the main points of the 25th Dynasty but it also displays the current archaeological projects taking place in the Sudan.
